NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS
Increased Access to Covid Testing at BHS
In a recent email, Principal Raygoza announced increased access to Covid (rapid) testing for all students at BHS. BHS is encouraging students to test 2x per week. Please remember that students must be registered to test at BHS.
As of January 11th, all students can access Covid (rapid) testing at J104/Athletic Plaza on a grade-level schedule:
– 9th/12th grader can access testing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:00pm
– 10th/11th graders can access testing on Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:30-5:00pm
– Student Athletes will continue their regular testing schedule which falls primarily on Mondays
When you arrive to J104, there will be multiple lines including one for STAFF, one for STUDENT ATHLETES, and one for STUDENTS.
***BHS is rolling out this grade-level testing schedule to ensure we have enough testing capacity to get through everyone each week.
BHS will continue to offer Covid (rapid) testing to all students on Mondays-Fridays from 9:00-4:30pm at the back parking lot of the Berkeley Adult School. Please use the Curtis St. entrance. (The City of Berkeley operates a separate Curative testing kiosk in the front parking lot off of San Pablo.) If you are feeling sick, stay home and seek testing at Berkeley Adult School (do not come to BHS for testing).
If you would like to register for testing or see other vaccination opportunities, please visit this BUSD website for more information.

Join Model United Nations!
Join Model United Nations! We’re a BHS club focused on simulating the United Nations with the goal of learning about how the UN operates and about global politics in general. Each club member gets to represent a country and debates, negotiates, drafts resolutions, and votes from the perspective of their country. If you’re interested in joining, contact berkeleyhighmodelun@gmail.com and we will catch you up to speed. We are a relatively casual club, so prospective members need no prior knowledge of politics or the UN. We meet every Friday at lunch on the south end of the large bleachers (indicated on the map), or at C233 on rainy days.
