Academic Choice Needs Your help

One of the great things about the AC community is the willingness of AC parents and guardians to invest in the education of AC students. Your donations are essential for the effective implementation of AC’s learning mission because the annual BHS budget, regrettably, does not provide sufficient support for the enrichment our children need and deserve.

Your donations help provide funds for:

  • instructional equipment (digital projectors, graphing calculators, computers, etc.)
  • instructional support (paper readers/graders, tutors for AP classes, etc.)
  • academic support (e.g. Academic Support coordinator and assistant for struggling students)
  • professional development for AC teachers and staff
  • AC events (commencement ceremony, graduation regalia, informational gatherings, etc.)
  • student field trips … and much more!

We invite your family to contribute! A gift of any size is appreciated. It is easier than ever to make a contribution to Academic Choice:

  1. (referred method) Mail a check (payable to BHS Development Group with “Academic Choice” written in the notes section) to: Academic Choice, c/o Hilary Hoynes, 1061 Miller Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94708.
  2. To donate via credit card, go to BHSDG website: http://bhsdg.org/donors.html, type “Academic Choice” in the designation box, and click on “Donate” under the PayPal logo. On the “Review Your Payment” page, be sure to click on “Add Special Instructions to Merchant” and write Academic Choice in the box.

Thank you! Questions may be emailed to href=”mailto:hoynes@berkeley.edu”>hoynes@berkeley.edu.
